Anita is a native of Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from The Ohio State University, she moved to sunny Florida where she began a career in child welfare. For over a decade, Anita worked in child abuse and human trafficking investigations, first as an investigator, then as a unit supervisor, and then in circuit administration. It was during this time that Anita decided to go to law school and fight for the rights of families that were too often denied to them during this process.

Anita began law school at Florida A&M University's College of Law in 2012. After graduating, Anita moved with her family back to Ohio and is now a member in good standing with the Ohio Bar and the Northern District of Ohio. Her practice focuses on juvenile law defense, child abuse &neglect defense, criminal (felony & misdemeanor), civil rights, personal injury, and general civil law.
